Join us this Saturday as the Alumnae of Kappa Alpha Theta host Theta Gives Back: CAN/CARE DRIVE at Miel. \nTheta is collecting canned goods\, personal care items\, and gift cards to benefit @casajeffersoninc and foster youth in our community. Casa Jefferson’s mission is to break the cycle of child abuse & neglect through volunteers advocating for safe\, nurturing\, and permanent homes for local foster youth. \nThat’s not all! $1 from each pint (11am–2pm) will be donated to @casajeffersoninc \nYou are welcome to drop off items all day\, not just from 11am-2pm. We’ll make sure if gets to @casajeffersoninc. \nWhile you’re here catch @hatchandharvest food truck at Miel from 12pm–6pm. \nThank you all for helping support.

Born in southern Italy and raised near Florence\, Vale grew up in his family’s restaurants\, where he learned the ropes from the ground up. \nSince moving to New Orleans in 2014\, he’s worked in some of the city’s most beloved kitchens: Domenica\, Shaya\, Restaurant August\, and most recently led the team at Domenica as Executive Chef. His cooking brings together the heart of traditional Italian food with a fresh perspective shaped by years in NOLA’s culinary scene. \nExpect handmade pasta\, freshly baked bread\, and more.
